Well, that's difficult to say. The sign outside isn't in a language I understand. Another part of the building is a bar, but I can't figure out what this part is supposed to be.

The glowing is a bit ominous. Then again everything in this blighted city glows.

All the glowing is rather distasteful. It's as though whoever created this city was terrified of the dark, don't you think?

But you may be onto something, Fenris. Could this strange area be a deterrent? Something to remind patrons not to drink too much?

It stopped doing strange things. I had thought the implant was connected to something else...but it would seem I was wrong as it remained unaffected.

I can no longer find things that I could in New Amsterdam, though. I suppose that's a good thing.

It still functions in some capacity. But nothing that requires a "connection". Though I agree. It was doing strange things to me that I could not explain, and it does those things no longer.

Besides, you helped me, too. I was only granted Catherine for a particular assignment: I don't know why or how I arrived with her in tow, but I did. Using her to remove the implant shook some of the dust off.
